Why just drink water… when you can drink FANCY PANTS H2O!?

In our Self Magazine Weekender column this week we featured a quick and easy way to zest-up your water so you’ll be more likely to stay hydrated this summer.

Try the recipe on for size:

Ingredients:

  • 2 liters of water
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 10-12 mint leaves
  • Ice (optional)

Directions:

Chop lemon and cucumber into thin slices and put into your water. Peel or leave cucumber skin as is to taste. Add in your mint leaves and muddle lightly. Let it sit in the fridge overnight. Add ice if you like your water extra cold refreshing. Enjoy!
