Pinterest is an amazing online ‘pinboard’ where you can draw inspiration from what your fellow pinners have posted to their boards – ranging from home décor to weddings and events; to my personal favorite: recipes and photos of delicious food.
I’ve already pinned so many amazing recipes from food bloggers across the web, and I am so excited to try each and every one.
This morning I whipped up an easy recipe from The Wanna Be Chef. It’s a simple peanut butter yogurt dip that tastes too delicious to actually be healthy, but the best part is that it’s actually so good for you!
I am a bit of a peanut butter addict which is fine in moderation, but my cravings to eat it every day could lead to a diet too high in fat. Whipping up the peanut butter with yogurt gives it an awesome peanut butter taste without all the calories!
You can check out the full recipe on The Wanna Be Chef’s website – it is so simple that I have a feeling you’ll be making this all the time! I know I will.
I made my own version this morning, with a couple edits from his website based upon what I had in my fridge:
1 container low fat Fage Greek Yogurt
3 Tbs peanut butter
½ pack Splenda
1 Tsp Agave Syrup
I ate this with sliced banana and strawberry on Gluten Free toasted bread – a breakfast that beats out boring old cereal for sure!
