Hey New York Friends! Wanna be Fancy?

Straight from Duane Park Opera Night:

On Wednesday November 2, 2011, 8 pm, Theatre d’Orleans continues at Tribeca’s Duane Park with the help of OperaOggiNY.

Sonya Rice, the fresh and energetic soprano is also joined by D’ariel Barnard, an exciting young singer who was named as our newest Young Artist at Opera Oggi NY.

They will present a program including arias from Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, Mozart’s Magic Flute and Le Nozze di Figaro, Bizet’s Carmen, and Toscano’s A Summer’s Dream, among other favorites.

The evening is arranged to allow diners to enjoy the company of companions, savor their food, view the inspired decor, while hearing lively and engaging pieces of music throughout the night.

The evening is narrated by Thomas Lawrence Toscano, artistic director of OperaOggiNY and renowned conductor/composer.
